Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra's work has led her to participate in several notable international and national projects. A few of them include the British biographical movie Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in the Cannes Film Festival.
